1. Introduction

Digcue Audio Technology designs and manufactures custom earphones, headphones, and audio products under ODM/OEM and private-label programs. We respect your privacy and are committed to handling personal information transparently and in line with applicable data-protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through our website at digcuetech.com, email and messaging communications, trade-show interactions, and procurement and partner engagements. It does not cover third-party websites we may link to.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to respond to inquiries, deliver quotes, and fulfil manufacturing agreements:

  • Contact information — name, company, business email, phone or WhatsApp number, and job title submitted through forms or direct messages.
  • Project information — product specifications, target ANC depth, volumes, timelines, certification markets, and technical briefs you share with our engineering team.
  • Communication records — correspondence with our sales and acoustic teams for the purpose of managing your request.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically through cookies (see Section 4).

We do not knowingly collect special-category (sensitive) personal data unless you voluntarily provide it as part of a project brief.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

  • Respond to inquiries and prepare technical feasibility plans and quotations;
  • Manage sampling, tooling, production, and quality-control engagements;
  • Send service-related updates and, where you have opted in, occasional acoustic and capability insights;
  • Improve our website, content, and manufacturing processes;
  • Comply with legal, tax, and contractual obligations.

We process your data on the bases of legitimate interest (responding to B2B inquiries), contract performance (manufacturing agreements), and consent (marketing communications, which you may withdraw at any time).

4. Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses essential cookies required for basic functionality and, where enabled, analytics cookies that help us understand traffic patterns. You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings without losing access to core content. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use cookies to build advertising profiles.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only with:

  • Service providers — hosting, email, CRM, and analytics vendors acting on our instructions under confidentiality obligations;
  • Manufacturing and logistics partners — solely to the extent required to fulfil your order;
  • Authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.

Any party processing data on our behalf is bound by contractual safeguards consistent with this policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. Inquiry and project records are typically retained for the duration of the commercial relationship plus a reasonable period for warranty, accounting, and dispute resolution, after which they are deleted or anonymized.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Request correction, update, or deletion of your data;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing;
  • Withdraw consent for marketing at any time;
  • Request portability of your data (where applicable).

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11. We will respond within the timeframe required by law (generally within 30 days under GDPR).

8. International Data Transfers

Digcue is headquartered in Dongguan, China, and serves clients worldwide. Your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside your country of residence. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect it.

9. Data Security

We maintain organizational and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the information — including access controls, encrypted transmission, and restricted internal access — to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. Our facilities are ISO 9001 and BSCI certified.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date above, and where appropriate we will notify you directly. Continued use of our website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
